Gratitude is a right attitude!!!

Sometimes i wonder that time slides by so fast we don’t realize that we could have spent considerable amount of time running errands and dreaming of gaining material possessions, bettering the lifestyle by looking at people around us, while this is not entirely berated, it would be worthwhile to stop and retrospect the life, the blessings we have had and be grateful for it.
Sense of gratitude is the right attitude since it helps strengthen our roots, help in feeling good about the work we do, the people we interact with and respect for all the good fortunes we might have .
Gratitude works on a number of levels to improve the life and sense of wellbeing.
Perhaps the most important is simply that it is a feel good emotion.
Gratitude really, truly is something that allows us to step outside of our waking sleep and when done with full lucidity allows us to see how the simple fact that we're able to read these words, or write them, is something to be lastingly grateful for.
What comes to mind, the big things that help shape up our lives and that we need to have gratitude for are:
- God – who provides us with everything (air, water, sunlight, food, shelter among many other things)
- Spouse,Parents and Siblings – who loves us unconditionally and supports us in all walks of life.
- My extended family – who are always there when needed
- Good health
- Intelligence
- Freedom
- Friends
- Teachers, doctors, engineers and the positive catalysts of society.

The list could go on and on.........

awesome thoughts..ya seriously gratitude... coming to the US has made me realize a lot of things that i always took for granted and was really never grateful to... like mom keeping hot food ready everyday.. mom and dad making the house a home... and saagar, anmol, akash and casper relive my tension... Here when am alone.. so far away ... i realize how much they have been doing all these years...[:)]...God atleast is with us everywhere...(Rekha amma keeps reminding me to pray regularly..grandmom s are so cute...). I guess this comment is dedicated to all those people who have always been there for me... family(casper included)..extended family..friends...!!
